Chris Martinez

I’m Chris “Chief” Martinez, a Los Angeles-based director, photographer, and producer with over 12 years of experience creating imagery across sports, music, culture, and commercial work.

I’ve built my career in the field, documenting artists, athletes, and moments as they happen. I bring that same instinct and authenticity into the campaigns and projects I direct and produce. My work has included collaborations with brands such as Wilson, Alaska Airlines, and Hat Club, as well as artists and athletes including Freddie Gibbs, The Alchemist, Chris Paul, Tom Brady, and Jerry Rice. .

My approach blends the honesty of documentary photography with a cinematic eye for storytelling. Whether I’m directing a campaign, photographing a live moment, or building a project from concept through production, the goal is always the same: create work that feels honest, intentional, and impactful.

I’m based in Los Angeles and available for projects worldwide.
